LET'S GET CREATIVE!
Our tie-dye workshops are perfect for tie-dye enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. We’ll provide all the tools and one-on-one instruction you’ll need to create your very own wearable tie-dye art. We’ll even take care of the clean up!
We currently offer two types of workshops:
- Our “Tie-Dye Basics” workshop covers the essentials of tie-dye, including how to prepare your fabric, basic tying techniques, and proper tie-dye care, and takes one hour to complete.
- Our “Advanced Tie-Dyeing” workshops incorporate more intricate designs and color theory, and will vary in length, depending on the topics covered. Stay informed of upcoming workshops by subscribing to our email list!
Locations of the workshops will vary. Please make sure to read the specific workshop's listing carefully.
Each participant will receive one short-sleeved tee, gloves, and an apron for the workshop. We highly recommend wearing your “art clothes” (and shoes!) in case of spills.
Please note, all participants of our public workshops must be 8 years of age or older, to ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone. Also, participants under 18 years old will require a guardian in attendance throughout the event (though the guardian is not required to join the workshop). For large groups or celebrations with younger participants, please contact us about our private parties option!
For all "Give it a Try!" Tie-Dye Company workshops and private parties, we must require each participant or their guardian to sign a liability agreement before the event, as well as photo release forms. We will not use your image or likeness on any of our media channels without your express consent.
